The Misplaced Present

Shot by two people in the thick of quarantine, this micro-short film explores the relationship between the illusion of the self and the quality of one’s attention. A nostalgic, city-dwelling woman in her thirties falls prey to the inner workings of her mind as she tries to seize her present moment and, ultimately, discovers the innate accessibility of mindfulness.
